This site is a collection of resources for serious students of Taekwondo.
Whether a beginner or a black belt, you'll find information here to enhance your
study and enrich your pursuit of Taekwondo. Whether you just took your
first class or you're a master who owns several schools, you'll quickly find
yourself at home here. Our mission is to provide information that will not
only augment the instruction you already receive but to give you jumping-off
points from which you can pursue many varied interests across the full spectrum
of Taekwondo. If Taekwondo classes were all it took to satisfy your
craving for knowledge then you wouldn't be here on this site, reading this
document now. We want to encourage exploration in our art and we are
committed to delivering the information you need to gain a deeper understanding
of every aspect of Taekwondo. So don't be shy about exploring these pages.

You might remember this site as "The (Shamelessly) Unofficial Taekwondo Hyung
Resource". This site began sometime between 1992-93, without a name, as a
collection of personal notes. Well, as you'll be able to tell from just a
quick look through this site, we've come a long way and now offer a lot more
than descriptions of the Taekwondo patterns. In 1996 this site moved from
a university server to a free web hosting service. Now, after several
hundred thousand hits to that site, the (Shamelessly) Unofficial Taekwondo
Resource has relocated to its very own spot on the web.
We're very excited about incorporating even more information into these pages,
so please keep checking back with us for additional content. Please don't
hesitate to use our discussion boards or contact us directly. And, until
we talk again, we wish you the very best in Taekwondo and all your other
pursuits!
Regards,
The (Shamelessly) Unofficial Taekwondo Resource
